Oakland Raiders Reel In TE Kevin Boss With Four-Year Deal, According To Report
The Raiders lost TE Zach Miller in free agency and will reportedly replace him with TE Kevin Boss, who agreed to terms on a four-year deal on Friday.

The Raiders have had cap issues and need to get below the salary cap by Friday afternoon so this deal may be an indicator that they’re going to be able to do that.
Boss comes from the New York Giants who made him their fifth round pick in the 2007 NFL draft. Boss has been consistent in his last three years catching between 33 and 42 passes and over 500 receiving yards in each of the last two seasons.
In terms of talent, going from MIller to Boss is a downgrade but the Raiders do get Boss at a cheaper rate than Miller’s contract with the Seahawks.
