Broncos Vs. Cardinals: Game Time, TV Schedule, Roster Update And More

Cardinals will have an eye on their secondary, where youngsters A.J. Jefferson and Patrick Peterson are in the mix to replace cornerback Greg Toler.

With the Arizona Cardinals losing starting cornerback Greg Toler for the season after finding out he tore his ACL, all eyes will likely be on the secondary during Thursday's preseason finale against the Denver Broncos. In his place, rookie Patrick Peterson and second-year player A.J. Jefferson are expected to have the first shot.

Jefferson, who was undrafted, actually was already in the mix for starting spots after appearing in two games his rookie season. Peterson was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, and has already impressed coaches with his raw talent.

Among the more interesting storylines for the Broncos will be who wins the chance to back up starting quarterback Kyle Orton. Brady Quinn is definitely the favorite to fill that role, but a strong showing from Tim Tebow, who is already considered the team's quarterback of the future, could increase his chances of seeing some snaps this year.
