Matt Cassel Injury: Chiefs QB Apparently Injures Arm Getting Sacked In 2nd Quarter

The Chiefs' cavalcade of injuries also dealt a blow to their starting signal-caller, Matt Cassel, who was sacked hard by the Packers' Howard Green in the second quarter.

Cassel was shredding the Packers' D — made possible by the fact that their head coach isn't freaking insane — to the tune of 14-16, for 117 yards. Then Howard Green wrapped his paws around him, and slammed him down to the ground on his right shoulder. He was replaced by backup QB Tyler Palko.

Cassel, star running back Jamaal Charles, tight end Tony Moeaki, and Le'Ron McClain have all been hurt tonight, yet head coach Todd Haley insists on being a crazed football version of Dusty Baker:

Oh my word Charles is STILL IN! It's the fourth quarter!!less than a minute ago via Power Twitter Favorite Retweet Reply

Although, other than Moeaki, this may not come back to be too much of an issue, since Charles clearly is healthy enough to play, and the Chiefs are reporting that Cassel wasn’t injured, but just got the wind knocked out of him.
