While the fourth week of the NFL's preseason usually mean anyone who's projected to make a serious contribution to the team is on the bench, two big additions to the New England Patriots are starting against the New York Giants — Albert Haynesworth and Shaun Ellis.

Haynesworth has been absent for the vast majority of training camp — 20 days, at last count — but returned last week after pleading no contest to simple assault stemming from an incident with a D.C. cocktail waitress.
