Just in case you had any doubts about the value of Peyton Manning to the Indianapolis Colts, you should probably be pretty clear on this concept now. The Houston Texans absolutely rolled to an easy victory, winning by a final score of 34-7. It appeared like the Texans were going to hand the Colts their first donut on the scoreboard since 1993, but Kerry Collins and Reggie Wayne were able to hook up for a fourth quarter touchdown to safe face.

The Houston Texans rolled through the Indianapolis Colts, winning by a final score of 34-7.
The catch by Wayne on the touchdown was actually an unbelievable effort, but it was the only real highlight of a bad day at the office for Indy. Kerry Collins had two fumbles, but turnovers weren't the only reason the Colts were beat down - the Texans actually had one more. Ben Tate had a monster game for Houston, rushing for 116 yards on 24 carries, scoring a touchdown in the process.
Manning’s injury might make the AFC South a free-for-all, but the Texans look like early favorites after beating the Colts so easily. They travel away to play Miami next week.
