The Denver Broncos got right to work in their Monday Night Football match-up with the bitter rival Oakland Raiders. Though, they took a roundabout way to scoring the opening points of the game, a field goal to make it 3-0.
Raiders Vs. Broncos: Denver Converts Oakland Fumble Into Early Field Goal
The Broncos took the ball from their own 20 and drove it up to their own 46 but no further, punting it away to the Raiders. Jason Campbell opened the Oakland drive with a pass to Jacoby Ford, who promptly fumbled and gave the ball right back to Denver on the Raiders 15-yard-line.
The Broncos continued to struggle on offense, moving up to the 10-yard-line before they reached fourth down once again. Matt Prater come out to kick a 28-yard field goal, making it 3-0 and providing a modicum of momentum to Denver.
If they could actually get their offense working...look out.
