Patriots Vs. Dolphins: Bill Belichick’s Postgame Talk Is So Bill Belichick

QB Tom Brady just threw for 517 yards, completing over 66 percent of his passes, and the New England Patriots looked strong against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. The Pats finished with a 38-24 victory and head coach Bill Belichick downplayed it and delivered his usual "We can do better" postgame speech.
"Again I thought it was competitive tonight, but there's still a lot of things that we need to do better, that's obvious. We've got to go back to work, it's the first game of the season, we've got 15 more in the regular season, and hopefully we can improve on a weekly basis. I mean that's what we need to do. We're a long way from being a good football team right now."

Never get too high and never get too low. That’s part of who Belichick is, despite how much you want to see the guy get excited for what was clearly a strong performance by his team.

That said, his approach has resulted in a few Super Bowl appearances, so maybe others should take note.
