Brian Urlacher Dealing With The Death Of His Mother

This isn't what we wanted to write after news came out on Wednesday morning that Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher left the team to deal with a family emergency.

According to reports, Urlacher is dealing with the death of his mother. Via Jason La Canfora:

Brian Urlacher statement on unexpected passing of his mother: “My first priority right now is to be with my family as we mourn her loss.”

His status for Week 2 is unclear.

Best wishes to the Urlacher and his family.
