Braylon Edwards left the San Francisco 49ers' game against the Dallas Cowboys in the first quarter after suffering a right knee injury. It's not yet known if he'll return -- he reportedly limped to the locker room, and the team has dubbed his return as questionable.
Braylon Edwards Injury: 49ers Receiver Injures Right Knee, Return Questionable
Edwards tallied just one catch before leaving, good for 21 yards. 49ers quarterback Alex Smith hasn’t missed a beat without him, though, connecting on 10 of his first 13 attempts for 103 yards and a touchdown, finding Kyle Williams in the end zone.
Still, the injury is a tough break for 49ers, who came into the game already missing Michael Crabtree, who's inactive due to a foot injury. Expect Ted Ginn, Jr. to see increased looks for as long as Edwards is out.
