Michael Boley’s Touchdown Celebration Victim Survives

There are two highlights from Monday that stick out. First, Domenik Hixon’s circus catch in the end zone. And second, Michael Boley’s 65-yard fumble return ... which he celebrated by beaning a Giants intern in the face. But there’s good news! As you can see in this post-game pic, the intern appeared no worse for wear. But as you’d suspect, his moment in the national spotlight didn’t go unnoticed by his friends:

Giants video intern Ryan Brown, who got hit in the face by Boley: "I've been getting blown up all night on Facebook." #nyg

Relive the good times in the video below.

Boley was so caught up in the moment that he apparently didn’t realize he hit Brown until after the game. And even after he found out, he took the all publicity is good publicity approach:

Brown was fine after the game, aside from a little redness on the side of his face. Before the game was even over, the video of the incident had made the rounds on Twitter and on several sports blogs.

“That’s good,” Boley joked. “Get [him] some pub.”
