Beanie Wells Suffers Hamstring Injury In Practice, Listed As Limited

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells appears to have suffered a hamstring injury in practice on Thursday, casting his role in Sunday’s game against the Seahawks in doubt.

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells apparently suffered a hamstring injury during practice Thursday.

According to Kent Somers of AZCentral.com, Wells is listed as limited on the injury report. It is unknown yet whether or not the RB will be available for this weekend's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Wells has gained 183 yards on 32 carries in two games, his most productive efforts in consecutive games over his three-year career. At 5.7 yards per carry, there have been concerns that the Cardinals haven't been giving Wells the ball consistently, though that might be a secondary issue at the moment.

Kevin Kolb has stated that he would like more of the responsibility placed into Beanie's hands and that running allows the Cardinals to, "impose their will."

Wells was drafted 31st overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2009 NFL Draft. Last season, he rushed for 397 yards on 116 attempts.
