Miles Austin Injury: Cowboys WR Reportedly Out Vs. Redskins

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to be without Miles Austin when they play the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football. Austin pulled his hamstring late in the Cowboys' overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers last week and early reports suggested he would likely miss the game.

Matt Mosley reports that Austin will indeed be out in Week 3.

This is disappointing for the Cowboys, who are hurting in the injury department. Tony Romo's status is up in the air after a rib injury as well as a punctured lung and we're not sure whether Dez Bryant will be playing either.

Austin had a huge game against the 49ers last week passing the century mark in receiving yards and adding three touchdowns. If Bryant can’t go, they’ll really be hurting.
