Orlando Brown, Former NFL Player, Passes Away At Age 40
Former NFL offensive lineman Orlando Brown reportedly passed away at the age of 40.

The Ravens confirmed his death and head coach John Harbaugh commented.
“We send our condolences to the family of Orlando Brown,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “Everybody knew what he meant to this organization. We’re forever grateful for what he did for the present team. We can’t express enough sorrow for his loss.”
Brown entered the league in 1993 with the Browns and played in the league until he retired in 2005 after three years with the Ravens.
He is perhaps best remembered for an on-field incident in 2000 when referee Jeff Triplette threw a penalty flag on a play and the flag ended up hitting Brown in the eye. He became angry and ultimately pushed Triplette, which got him ejected from the game. He missed three seasons as a result of the incident and reportedly settled with the NFL on the case.
Brown played right tackle throughout his career, and even lined up at defensive tackle at one point. He was listed at 6’7” and 360 pounds upon retirement.
Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
