Most people are asking just how many points both teams can accumulate in this game. With these two offenses, anything is possible. Expectations are swirling around the Houston Texans, and their 2-0 start to the season has people talking. New Orleans and Drew Brees had their way with the Bears last week. This offense can score 30 points in a bad game.
NFL Picks Week 3: Texans Vs. Saints
If the Houston Texans are going to beat the New Orleans Saints, Wade Phillips’ 3-4 defense will need a big game.

The wild card here might be the Texans defense. New defensive coordinator Wade Phillips converted it to a 3-4, and retaining Mario Williams' pass rushing prowess in that system has not been as difficult as many predicted. Check out what Peter King said about this game.
The Texans’ defense is better under Wade Phillips, and it just might be good enough to walk into the Superdome and steal a win. Wouldn’t surprise me at all.
King picks the Saints in a narrow victory. ESPN's entire panel picked the Saints to win, and CBS saw one outlier taking the Texans. Andrew Sharp takes the Saints as well.
Beating New Orleans in the Dome is a tall order for any team. The Saints get the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.
