NFL Injury Roundup: Peyton Hillis, Antonio Gates Among Big Names Missing Week 3
Have a ton of backup running backs on your fantasy team? You’re going to need them, as Arian Foster and Peyton Hillis are among the inactive players for Sunday’s games.

- Peyton Hillis, Madden cover boy, was sent home by the Browns because of an illness. He's OUT for the game.
- Michael Vick has recovered sufficiently from his concussion. He's IN for the game.
- Arian Foster's white stuff hasn't abated, as his hamstring injury persists. He's OUT for the game. His backup, Derrick Ward, is also OUT, meaning Ben Tate will get the lion's share of the touches.
- Antonio Gates still can't get over a foot injury, the same appendage that caused him to miss six games last year. He's OUT for the game.
- Knowshon Moreno missed the Broncos' victory over the Bengals last week, and though he's listed as active, backup Willis McGahee will reportedly dominate the workload.
- Mario Manningham is not recovered from his concussion, and didn't even travel with the Giants to Philly. He's OUT for today's game. Osi Umenyiora will also miss the Eagles game.
- Aaron Hernandez has a sprained MCL and is OUT for today. Rob Gronkowski will likely catch 5 TDs.
- Brandon Lloyd is officially listed as active so he's IN. His competition for catches, Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas, are OUT. Tebow time?(!)
- Braylon Edwards is OUT after hurting his knee. In fact, he's likely out the next few weeks. You know what Braylon's going to do instead? PARTY. Michael Crabtree is active and IN, according to Adam Schefter.
- Steven Jackson has a quad injury — it caused him to miss last week's game — but he's questionable and a game-time decision for the Rams' 4:15 game against the Ravens,
