Beanie Wells Status Update: Cardinals Running Back ‘Expected To Be Deactivated’

Beanie Wells’ status has been a topic of interest before the Cardinals’ Week 3 match-up with the Seahawks, and it now looks like Arizona will be without its starting running back. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports:

Wells is nursing a hamstring injury, but is eighth in the NFL with 183 rushing yards, and contributed 93 yards and a touchdown in Arizona’s Week 2 loss to the Redskins. Without Wells, the Cardinals look likely to turn to LaRod Stephens-Howling and Chester Taylor in their running game, and will probably try to win behind Kevin Kolb’s arm.

Here’s the rest of the Week 3 NFL Schedule. For more on the Cardinals head over to Revenge of the Birds. For more on the Seahawks, check out Field Gulls. Follow the rest of this week’s NFL action in the Week 3 NFL StoryStream and at SB Nation NFL.
