A few days after Houston Texans running back Arian Foster was inactive against the New Orleans Saints, head coach Gary Kubiak expressed optimism that Foster would be good to go this Sunday versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kubiak said the coaching staff was "expecting Arian out there full-speed, ready to go."
Arian Foster Injury Update: Gary Kubiak Confident Foster Can Be Full Speed This Sunday
The Texans could use a 100% Foster after Ben Tate tweaked his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Saints. Kubiak said the ankle was sore but Tate would be OK. For fantasy football owners waiting for the return of Foster, this all adds up to positive news if you've got Foster on your team. You'll need to wait for word from the practice participation reports, but I've got to think he gets in full workouts this week. The team might still want to take their time, but if he's ready, he's ready.
The Texans face a struggling Steelers team that could be primed for a solid rushing performance by whomever is in the Texans backfield. We’ll provide injury reports on Foster and Tate as the week progresses.
