NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Buffalo Bills Continue To Impress

It's Tuesday which means various media outlets are coming out with their 2011 NFL power rankings for Week 4 and once again the Buffalo Bills (and the Detroit Lions) are the talk of the town. The Bills topped the New England Patriots after being down by 21 points -- a week after beating the Oakland Raiders after being down 18 points -- and firmly entrenched themselves as a top 10 team in the NFL.

SB Nation’s Buffalo Rumblings is full of Billievers who have smiles this morning as most media outlets place them in the top 10.

The highest we've seen them rated is No. 3 overall, whereCBS' Pete Prisco has them. Mike Florio at ProFootballTalk.com and the panel at NFL.com have them at No. 5. ESPN.com has put them at No. 6, just two weeks after having them No. 27. SI's Peter King and SB Nationhave them at No. 7. FOXSports.com's Brian Billick has them at No. 8.

The Bills sitting at No. 3 in some power rankings after three weeks is why the NFL is so great. There’s parity in the NFL, to the point where (almost) every NFL team can legitimately claim they’re contenders before the season starts.

Buffalo is a perfect example of that.
