Brandon Stokley Injury: Strained Quad For Giants WR

Brandon Stokley, signed just a couple weeks ago by the Giants, left practice with a strained quad.

Another week and another injury for a New York Giants player. This week's victim is WR Brandon Stokley, who left practice with a strained quad, according to multiple reports.

Just last week the Giants lost WR Domenik Hixon for the season to a torn ACL so they can't afford to lose any more receivers. Luckily, Mario Manningham was able to return to practice just this week.

A reporter saw Stokley being walked outside with one of the Giants medical folks. There’s no word on the severity of the injury.

The Giants signed Stokley a couple weeks ago to play in the slot but he hasn’t seen much action, only getting in on a handful of plays. The Giants are 2-1 so they’re surviving these injuries but it’s getting to a ridiculous level at this point.

Check out SB Nation’s Big Blue View for more on Stokley’s injury.
