Eli Manning shook his early season rust last week and led the New York Giants to a big win over their division rivals, the not-so-dreamy Philadelphia Eagles. Manning was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his four touchdown, 254 yard performance against the Eagles and their vaunted secondary. Joining Manning among the NFC and AFC Players of the Week were Oakland running back Darren McFadden, Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, Buccaneers cornerback Ronde Barber, Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey and Bills kicker Rian Lindell.

On a weekend filled with exciting comeback victories, Manning erased a 16-14 fourth quarter deficit with two touchdown drives to secure the win. His four touchdown passes tied a career high; it was the sixth time Manning threw four touchdowns in a game.
All Darren McFadden did was rush for a jaw-dropping 171 yards on 19 carries. He also had two rushing touchdowns in the Raiders' 34-24 win over the New York Jets. The former University of Arkansas running back's week three performance is the single-game output by a running back so far this season. McFadden leads the NFL with 393 rushing yards.
Ray Lewis once again the led the Ravens in a dominating defensive performance, as his team beat the St. Louis Rams by a final score of 37-7. Lewis had ten tackles on the afternoon. He sacked Rams quarterback Sam Bradford and forced a fumble that Ravens defensive end Hloti Ngata returned for a touchdown. Lewis is a half a sack away from becoming the first player in NFL history with 40 sacks and 30 interceptions (39.5 sacks and 31 interceptions).
Tampa Bay cornerback Ronde Barber led his team to a 16-13 upset over the Atlanta Falcons. Barber had one interception, a fumble recovery, four tackles and three passes defended. It was his 186th consecutive game, the longest streak by an NFL cornerback. Barber is the only player in NFL history with 40 interceptions and 25 sacks (41 interceptions and 26 sacks).
A pair of kickers earned the special teams player of the week awards for both conferences. Rian Lindell kicked the game-winner to give the Bills an upset win over the New England Patriots. Dallas kicker Dan Bailey also kicked a game-winner to give his team the win over Washington on Monday night. Bailey converted all six field-goal attempts in the game.
