The Denver Broncos will visit the undefeated Green Bay Packers this weekend at Lambeau Field. The team led by Kyle Orton might be better off on the road since he won't have to put up with home crowd cheering for his ousting in favor of Tim Tebow, but the road team is still quite a bit of an underdog to the reigning Super Bowl champions.
NFL Odds Week 4: Broncos Vs. Packers
The Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers are favored at home against a Denver Broncos team featuring Kyle Orton and Eric Decker. Surprising? Not exactly.
The Packers opened as 13-point favorites, a line not all that surprising considering the offensive’s propensity to put up points in bunches over the first few weeks of the season. The Broncos have only given up a bit over 20 points per game so far this season, though, so it might be more difficult than usual for the Packers to hang their average 33 points again this week.
If there is interest in betting the over-under, by the way, the over seems to be a good bet. Green Bay may be without starting running back Ryan Grant, forcing them to air it out even more, while Denver is ranked 28th in the league in rushing. It wouldn't be surprising if this turn into a shootout.
