Knowshon Moreno Injury Update: Willis McGahee Expected To Start Sunday

Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno has returned to practice in full this week following a hamstring injury, but it has not been enough to get him back into the starting lineup. The Broncos are expected to start Willis McGahee on Sunday against the Packers, but Moreno will get a chance to split some of the carries if he shows he is ready.

The Packers have been very stout against the run, which makes this a fairly tough matchup. What makes all the more difficult is the fact that Denver is joining Seattle as the football teams where fantasy football goes to die. The season has not been pretty thus far for the Broncos on the fantasy front. McGahee and Moreno don’t really qualify as particularly useful fantasy options at this point given the stagnant Broncos offense. For the most part I’d be sitting any Broncos until they prove they can actually move the ball with some consistency.
