The Green Bay Packers are playing in their first playoff game of the season after receiving a first round bye. They'll be facing the New York Giants in the NFC divisional playoff game and, even though it's a postseason game, they're trying to keep their weekly routine.
NFC Divisional Playoffs: Packers Trying Not To Change Much
SB Nation's Packers blog, Acme Packing Company, talked with safety Morgan Burnett about the preparation leading into the game, and what a difference it makes having played a team before as these two teams did last month.
It helps out because you can go back and watch the film from the previous game. And maybe get your mistakes corrected. Going into the playoff game, we’re going to stick to the same preparation that we do any other week and apply it to the game. We really get started on everything tomorrow morning [Wednesday].
The Packers won that game but the Giant were one of the few teams all year that were able to test them. So there’s clearly things the Packers can approve upon for this weekend’s game.
