Texans Vs. Ravens 2012: 48-Yard Field Goal Gives Baltimore 10-3 Lead

The Baltimore Ravens defense forced a three-and-out on the Texans. That’s why the unit led by Ray Lewis is the money maker for that team. That helped give them good field position at their own 40-yard line to start the drive.

A Ray Rice run was followed by a beautiful deep ball to Anquan Boldin on the sidelines. He went up in the air and caught a 21-yard pass from Joe Flacco with Texans corner Kareem Jackson playing him tight in man coverage. He managed to get a foot and a hand down to stay in bounds.

On third-and-four, the Texans brought pressure, and got their first sack of the game. In the process of going down, Flacco fumbled the ball, but the Ravens pulled it out of the pile. Billy Cundiff booted a 48-yard field goal.
