Texans Vs. Raven 2012: Running Room Hard To Come By For Ray Rice

The Baltimore Ravens offensive line struggled on their first drive of the second half. The Ravens tried to run Ray Rice on the first two plays. Space was hard to find, and Rice picked up just four yards to set up third-and-four.

The line struggled with Houston's defense again on third down. Multiple defenders broke through as quarterback Joe Flacco held the ball far too long. After dodging three tackles, Flacco was eventually sacked for a six-yard loss by Brooks Reed.

Baltimore’s line has made running difficult for Ray Rice. He’s averaging just 3.4 yards per carry. Credit the Houston defense too. Wade Phillips’ unit has played a very good game.
