ANIMATED: Neil Rackers Hits Crossbar On 50-Yard Field Goal Attempt

Doink! Texans kicker Neil Rackers was thisclose to pulling Houston within one point of the Ravens in the third quarter, but his 50-yard field goal attempt banged off the bottom of the crossbar, no good. Baltimore leads the Texans by a score of 17-13.

Houston quarterback T.J. Yates is picking it up vs. the Ravens, and made several key throws to get Houston into Rackers' range. Yates had a 17-yard completion to Andre Johnson and a big 19-yard strike over the middle to Kevin Walter that gave the Texans a shot at points.

Of course, the flip side: the long miss gave the Ravens the ball at their own 40-yard line.
