Texans Vs. Ravens: T.J. Yates Interception Spells Trouble For Houston

The Ravens defense strikes again. Texans quarterback T.J. Yates tossed his second interception of the NFL Divisional Round matchup, throwing over the middle into a crowd of purple jerseys. Baltimore holds on to a 17-13 lead late in the fourth quarter.

It looked like Houston had avoided a big turnover when Jacoby Jones covered up an Arian Foster fumble at midfield when Haloti Ngata forced the ball out of Foster's hands. But on the next snap, Yates threw deep over the middle and right at Baltimore defensive back Lardarius Webb, who made his second interception of the game.

Here’s video of the pick:

Yates, a rookie, hasn’t been bad for the Texans, but those two picks could end up really costing Houston. Both offenses are struggling. No one has scored in the last seven possessions, and the Ravens haven’t scored since the first quarter.
