The Oakland Raiders have officially began their coaching search to replace recently fired Hue Jackson. The Raiders will first look to poach from a division rival, requesting permission to speak with both Denver Broncos coordinators according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Mike McCoy is also being sought after by the Miami Dolphins and has been the Broncos offensive coordinator for the past few seasons, serving under both former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels and current head coach John Fox. McCoy worked with Fox on the Carolina Panthers staff from 2000 to 2008.

Dennis Allen on the other hand has served as the Broncos defensive coordinator for just one season. Prior to 2011, he worked as the New Orleans Saints secondary coach from 2008 to 2010 and worked as the Saints defensive line coach from 2006 to 2007. Allen also spent three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons as a defensive assistant.
