The Denver Broncos were blown out by the New England Patriots in the AFC divisional round and quarterback Tim Tebow didn't play very well completing just 9-of-26 passes for 136 yards and losing a fumble.
Tim Tebow Suffered Torn Cartilage, Bruised Lung During Loss To Patriots
Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow suffered a chest injury against the Patriots in the AFC divisional round game, according to a report.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there’s a reason for that -- he was playing hurt. Williamson reports that Tebow “tore cartilage in his first rib where it attaches to his sternum, bruised his lung and had fluid buildup in the plural space of his chest.”
The injury apparently came at some point when Tebow was hit while throwing a pass.
Tebow was in pain over the weekend, according to the report, and took an MRI on his chest to determine what exactly went wrong. He has been rehabbing throughout the week.
The good news is that the injuries seem to be a short term problem. Tebow is expected to be ready for the Broncos offseason program.
