Reports have them requesting permission to interview Mike Mularkey of the Atlanta Falcons and Rob Chudzinski of the Carolina Panthers.
Brian Schottenheimer To Interview For Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coaching Job, According To Report
The Jaguars are on the move interviewing multiple candidates for their head coaching job, including the Jets’ Brian Schottenheimer.
The latest name connected to the Jags job -- Brian Schottenheimer. The New York Jets offensive coordinator will interview with Jacksonville for the head coaching job, according to Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News.
Schottenheimer is believed to be on the hot seat in New York, despite what Rex Ryan says, so he may be leaving either way.
Schottenheimer certainly has the family pedigree to be a head coach. His dad, Marty Schottenheimer, was a longtime NFL head coach who was very successful.
