Dolphins Coaching Search Down To Three Candidates

The Miami Dolphins coaching search continues and we may finally have an answer on what the team will do at the head coaching position. The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins decision is "imminent" and it's believed there are three remaining candidates -- Mike McCoy, Todd Bowles and Joe Philbin.

McCoy is the Denver Broncos offensive coordinator and he recently canceled an interview with the Oakland Raiders leading some to believe that he thinks he's the front-runner in Miami. He's had two interviews with the Dolphins.

Bowles has been with the Dolphins since 2008 as the secondary coach and is also currently the interim coach. He’s one of three finalists.

Philbin is the Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator and, like McCoy and Bowles, is one of the three finalists. He also recently interviewed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It’s unclear exactly who leads the race at this point but a decision is expected to be made soon.
