Packers’ Erik Walden, Chargers’ Antwan Barnes Fined By NFL For Hits
Green Bay Packers linebacker Erik Walden has been fined $15,000 by the NFL for hitting Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Walden was penalized by the NFL Friday for striking Stafford in the head and neck area during the third quarter of Green Bay’s 45-41 win last weekend. The hit struck Stafford in the neck and head while he was being sacked by Green Bay linebacker Vic So'oto.
The Packers have the week off via a bye in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, San Diego Chargers linebacker Antwan Barnes was hit with a $25,000 fine for unnecessary physical contact with an official. Barnes had been ejected after being called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against the Oakland Raiders. After being ejected, Barnes took off his helmet and yelled at officials. He is the Chargers' leader this season with 11 sacks.
