Bengals Vs. Texans Score: Houston Ties It Up Again, 10-10

The Houston Texans offense marched down the field and appeared to be on their way to another touchdown but the stingy Cincinnati Bengals defense kept them out of the end zone. The Texans settled for a field goal tying the game, 10-10 just past the two-minute warning.

The Texans scoring drive went 59 yards on 13 plays but one play in particular stood out.

On their own 37-yard line, T.J. Yates hit Owen Daniels for what appeared to be an eight-yard gain and a first down. But a closer look at the replays showed Daniels may never have really had possession of the ball. Both Daniels and the Bengals defender had their hands on the ball as he went to the ground but, as NBC's Mike Mayock pointed out, the tie goes to the offense in a situation like this.

The Bengals challenged the play, which was (I think) a good decision considering how big that play was but after review the officials confirmed their original call -- it’s a catch.

Also of note, is that the Bengals are now out of challenges for the rest of the game (and it’s still the second quarter).

The Texans continued driving down the field -- a 12-yard Arian Foster run here, a 17-yard pass to Andre Johnson there and they quickly found themselves in field goal range as the two-minute warning hit. Facing a third and six, Yates faced a Bengals blitz and winged it deep to Andre Johnson in the end zone but the connection failed. Johnson couldn’t come up with the ball and the Texans settled for a field goal.

Foster continues to be the best thing going for the Texans offense as he now has 70 yards on 12 carries.
