Bengals Vs. Texans Score: Houston Takes Touchdown Lead Into Halftime

The Houston Texans enter halftime leading by the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 17-10 and they can thank their defense seven of those. Late in the first half, Texans defensive end J.J. Watt picked off an Andy Dalton pass and returned it all the way for a touchdown.

The halftime story lines in this game -- besides Watt's interception -- start with Arian Foster who's having a very good game with 70 yards on 12 carries. He was a force in the Texans first touchdown drive and also helped put them in position for the field goal. If Foster can continue running at this pace, the Texans are going to be awfully hard to beat. Backup Ben Tate can spell him down the stretch which is part of the reason no one in the NFL rushes the ball more than the Texans.

Andy Dalton started off playing well for the Bengals but he had a disastrous end to the first half. As we mentioned, he threw the interception to Watt, which resulted in a touchdown, and then he did nothing in the Bengals final first half drive before getting sacked by, who else, Watt. Dalton finishes the first half completing 13-of-18 passes for 120 yards.

These two teams played fairly equal through most of the first half but the Texans dominated the final two minutes and they take a 17-10 lead into halftime.
