Falcons Vs. Giants, 2012 NFC Wild Card: New York Goes Three And Out

The Atlanta Falcons' last trip to the NFL playoffs included a barbecue hosted by Aaron Rodgers with all of their defensive backs on the grill. The New York Giants don't quite have the charcoal lit yet, going three-and-out on their first drive of the 2012 NFC Wild Card match-up between the two teams on Sunday.

Eli Manning misfired on his first pass of the day, a crossing route over the middle, and Brandon Jacobs was stuffed on second down. After a penalty made their third and 10 a third and 15, Manning found Mario Manningham for the first play for positive yardage on the day, but his catch still left the Giants well short of the sticks.

SB Nation’s NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here’s a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Big Blue View for the latest on the Giants and The Falcoholic for the latest on the Falcons.
