NFL Playoffs Schedule: Giants Move On, Will Face Packers In Divisional Round

The Giants were able to topple the Falcons on Wild Card weekend so they move onto the Divisional round where they’ll play the Packers in Green Bay.

The New York Giants defeated the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Wild Card game which means they're moving onto the Divisional round and the 15-1 Green Bay Packers. The game will be at Green Bay next Sunday, January 15 at 4:30 p.m. (ET) on FOX.

The Packers have the No. 1 seed which means they play the lowest remaining seed in the Divisional round, which is the No. 4 seed Giants. The other NFC team with a first round bye, San Francisco 49ers, host the New Orleans Saints next weekend.

There’s no question the Packers will be favored in this game but the Giants gave them one of their few close games of the year back in early December when they hosted the Packers in New York. Green Bay won, 38-35, but it was one of just a few occasions all year when the Packers were at least tested.

If Green Bay wins the game, they’ll host the NFC Championship game against either the 49ers or Saints. If the Giants win then the winner of the 49ers and Saints game will host the NFC Championship game.
