Aaron Ross Injury: Giants CB Being Evaluated For Head Injury, Will Not Return

New York Giants cornerback Aaron Ross and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul both suffered injuries on the Falcons' last possession. Both left the field under their own power, but it remains to be seen if and when they will return to the game. Pierre-Paul is reportedly fine, as it looked like he just got the wind knocked out of him. The news isn't as good for Ross.

The Giants are checking Ross for a for head injury, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. You can see his injury in this GIF, and understand why the team is concerned. Rookie cornerback Prince Amukamara replaced Ross on the field.
