The Indianapolis Colts have began their search for a new general manager to replace Bill and Chris Polian. Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted that they have seven different candidates for the vacant position.

The Indianapolis Colts have seven different names on their radar for the vacant general manager position.

SB Nation’s Colts blog Stampede Blue was able to pull who the candidates are from an IndyStar.com report:
Candidates Irsay is believed to have interviewed (or will interview by Monday) are NY Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross, Falcons director of player personnel Les Snead, Falcons director of college scouting David Caldwell, Cowboys director of scouting Tom Ciskowski, Eagles director of player personnel Ryan Grigson, and CFL G.M. Jim Popp, who works for the Montreal Alouettes. Also interviewed by Irsay his is current director of player personnel Tom Telesco. Telecso will also interview for the Bears open G.M. spot. The Chicago Tribune reported that Irsay also wants to talk to Patriots director of pro personnel Jason Licht.
The most interesting name in the candidates above is Montreal Alouettes GM Jim Popp. Popp has won four Grey Cups as a general manager
