Saints vs. Packers, Week 4: New Orleans’ passing game performs well

The Saints lost a winnable game in Green Bay, but Drew Brees and the New Orleans passing game were good.

The New Orleans Saints remain winless following Sunday's tough 28-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers. New Orleans had a chance to claim the lead in the final minutes with a field goal, but the attempt missed. SB Nation's Canal Street Chronicles was disappointed with the result, but also saw some positives in the defeat:

The good news, if there is any, was that some of the Saints offense finally looked a little like their old selves again, something we haven't seen from them yet this season. Drew Brees passed for 446 yards and three touchdowns while Marques Colston tallied 153 yards receiving.

Led by Brees and the air attack, the Saints ended up with 474 yards of total offense against the Packers. New Orleans ranks in the top 10 in the NFL in both points per game and total yardage, but defense continues to be a problem -- the Saints again allowed an opponent to rack up more than 400 yards of offense.
