Matt Forte injury: Bears RB limps off field after 1 play, but returns

Forte limped off the field after the Bears first offensive play but quickly returned.

Matt Forte walked off the field with a limp after the Chicago Bears first offensive play on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys but returned a few plays later. Forte was a game-time decision after he had been out with an ankle injury so his ankle is worrisome.

He walked over to the trainers table where he was getting his ankle taped back up.

The Bears have the luxury of a solid backup running back in Michael Bush but Forte is obviously one of, if not the most crucial parts of the Bears offense. His health not only for the rest of this game but for the next few weeks will be one of the key Chicago story lines.
