Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said Thursday he was not worried about his injured ankle heading into this weekend's game with the Washington Redskins. Peterson sprained his left ankle last week against the Tennessee Titans but said he didn't think the injury would hinder him from being able to "play and push through." Peterson finished last week with 88 yards on 17 carries.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners shouldn’t be too concerned about this injury considering the number of carries Peterson took last week after hurting it on his first rushing attempt. Peterson did not practice on Wednesday but no one is expecting him to miss any playing time. Peterson remains a No. 1 fantasy option at running back this week and should get plenty of opportunities to run the ball against Washington.
