Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best said Thursday that he took a concussion test on Monday and expects to have the results back on Friday. Best, who is eligible to return in Week 7, is hopeful that he will be cleared to play next Monday against the Chicago Bears. Best has not played since Week 6 of last season.

Fantasy Impact: Best is arguably the most explosive playmaker Detroit has at running back but he returns to a crowded backfield, with Mikel Leshoure and Joique Bell getting most of the chances. Fantasy owners will obviously have to wait a week to make sure he's practicing but Best could be worth adding for a fantasy team needing some depth at running back.
