Ben Tate had a "good practice" Thursday and is expected to play Sunday when the Houston Texans take on the Green Bary Packers, Texans' head coach Gary Kubiak told reporters. Tate was deactivated for last week's Monday night bout against the New York Jets due to a toe injury.
Ben Tate expected to play Week 6, though fantasy value is limited
Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Thursday that Ben Tate had a “good practice” and is expected to play Sunday against the Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Outside of a two-touchdown performance in Week 2, Tate has not done much this season as Arian Foster's backup. While he is more useful in fantasy than the average handcuff, he probably shouldn't be in your starting lineup in standard leagues unless by weeks have left you absolutely desperate. He is a nice player to stash on the bench in case anything happens to Foster, however. If Tate takes over the backfield in Houston, he could produce like an elite fantasy option.
