Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was limited in practice on Thursday with an ankle injury, but it is not likely to keep him out of Sunday's contest against the Redskins. Peterson has remained healthy all season long in his return from ACL surgery, playing in all five games and gaining 420 yards and 4.4 yards per carry. The Vikings would hate to miss Peterson for any amount of time, especially since backup Toby Gerhart has three fumbles on only 28 carries.
Adrian Peterson injury update: Limited Thursday practice, fantasy value in jeopardy?
The Vikings back was limited but will it cost him any game time? We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: There shouldn’t be too much concern here, stars are always going to be protected during the week if there’s an issue. It would be nice, however, to see Peterson get in a full practice on Friday. The Redskins are 10th against the run but AP could definitely rack up 80-100 yards and a score and be ranked confidently as an RB1.
