Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams did not practice for the second straight day. The Bills are preparing for a big Week 6 matchup against the 4-1 Arizona Cardinals, who have had extra time to prepare after their Thursday night loss in Week 5. Williams has now missed two practices as the week closes, but head coach Chan Gailey was optimistic about his availability for Sunday's game in Arizona. Gailey said Williams' ankle injury "should not be an issue" for the Cardinals game.

Williams has been a key cog on the interior for Buffalo in his first six years in the league. He has has 17 tackles through five games this season, including 3.5 sacks.

If he cannot go, it will be another blow to a defense already struggling to stop the run. The Bills rank 30th out of 32 teams this season, allowing a gaudy 171.8 yards on the ground per game. Fellow defensive tackles Marcell Dareus and Spencer Johnson are also dealing with ankle injuries. Johnson did not make the trip to Arizona.

The Cardinals, however, have the second-worst rushing attack in the league and just lost running back Ryan Williams for the season.
