Alshon Jeffery is expected to miss some time for the Chicago Bears because of a fractured hand but the team doesn't plan to add a veteran to fill his spot on the roster. General manager Phil Emery said (via The Chicago Sun-Times) that the team feels good about its depth at wide receiver. The Bears have a bye in Week 6.
Alshon Jeffery’s injury doesn’t mean Bears will add veteran wideout: Fantasy implications
Alshon Jeffery’s hand injury is not expected to prompt the Bears to add a veteran wide receiver. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The story says there was purported interest after the injury from Plaxico Burress and Terrell Owens but the Bears, for now, seem content to go with Devin Hester and Earl Bennett at wide receiver. Jeffery had 14 catches for 82 yards so far this season for Chicago and is worth keeping around in dynasty and keeper leagues. Hester has more fantasy value than Bennett but neither are consistent fantasy options.
