New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks caught passes and participated in the team's walkthrough on Friday ahead of this weekend's game with the San Francisco 49ers. Nicks has not played since Week 2 because of swelling in his knee. Friday was considered a critical day for Nicks, who said his availability for Week 6 would depend on how well practice went. Ramses Barden and Domenik Hixon have both started in place of Nicks in the last three games.
Hakeem Nicks practices for Giants, could be decent Week 6 fantasy option
Hakeem Nicks practiced on Friday for the New York Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners will again have to wait on injury reports before deciding on Nicks, but there is a much better chance he plays this weekend against the 49ers. If active, Nicks should be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 option at wide receiver in most formats. Hixon, in this scenario, would be a flex play at best.
