Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson participated in practice on Friday ahead of this weekend's game with the Washington Redskins. Peterson was held out of practice earlier in the week because of an ankle injury but has said that he didn't expect the injury to keep out of the game.

Peterson sprained his left ankle early in last week's victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Impact: Peterson has been sounding like a sure thing to play all week and this does nothing to change that thought. He will be a No. 1 fantasy options this week at running back, especially facing the team that he suffered a major knee injury against last season.

As always, monitor the inactives on Sunday but fantasy owners should be able to start Peterson with confidence.
