Greg Jennings ruled out, no fantasy value for Week 6

Greg Jennings is ruled out for Week 6, giving James Jones and Randall Cobb another chance to step up. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings (groin) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, reports Mike Vandermause of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Jennings has been struggling with a groin injury all season, missing Week 2 and Week 5 after aggravating the injury in Week 4. There is still no definite timetable for his return.

With Jennings out, James Jones will once again get the start opposite Jordy Nelson, with Randall Cobb assuming slot duties.

Fantasy Impact: Jones took big advantage of Jennings' absence last week, grabbing four catches for 46 yards and two TDs against the Colts. He will have a much tougher matchup against Houston's stout pass defense. Consider him a WR3 this week, with limited upside.

Cobb is improving week-to-week and can be considered a safe flex option in most leagues.
