Bills vs. Cardinals: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

Previewing the Week 6 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals.

Kevin Hoffman-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Arizona Cardinals will welcome in the Buffalo Bills to town in Week 6 for a clash of AFC-NFC foes. Both teams are coming off tough losses; the Cardinals fell to the Rams, while the Bills were blown out by the 49ers. Needless to say, both teams will definitely be looking to get back on track this Sunday afternoon.

Arizona has been torn apart by injuries this season. No. 1 running back Beanie Wells was lost for the season with a turf toe injury. As second-year tailback Ryan Williams was finally getting accustomed to the offense in Wells' absence, a big hit on his shoulder has sidelined him for the season following a trip to the IR. Look for LaRod Stephens-Howling, William Powell and Alfonso Smith to split the carries this weekend.

Buffalo was one of the better offensive teams in the league early in the year, averaging nearly 29 points-per-game in the month of September. So why the 2-3 record now? The defense has allowed an average of 35 points to their opponents, and they surrendered a combined 97 points the past two weeks. For the Cardinals, who typically struggle to move the ball given their injury issues, this game might just turn into a grind-it-out, low-scoring affair.

Game Time/Date: Sunday, Oct. 9; 4:05 p.m. ET

Location: University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona

TV Schedule: CBS

Regional TV Coverage Map: The506.com

Odds: The Cardinals opened as 3 1/2 point favorites.
